I'm creating a progressive die strip as a foundation to a prog die tool design
Is there a way to link a dimesion value to a feature linear pattern value. I have several features in a part model which I independantly applied linear patterns to. This gives me individual control of the number of instances of each feature in the strip. My lead is .500 I want all of the feature patterns to update when I change my single lead-pitch value. Is this doable?
Or maybe there is a better way to layout a strip. I'm in development phase so the lead-pitch may change many times.

The dimensions needed to make a linear pattern (# of instances and spacing in direction x, and # of instances and spacing in direction y). I know you can put these into a design table and have them driven on a configuration basis by the lead.

Yes, you can do it. Go Tools->Equations, click "Add", and type:

"Pitch" = 0.5

Then, double-click each linear pattern, RMB its length dim, and choose "Link Values". Pick "$Var:Pitch" from the dropdown.

I'm guessing you probably already figured this out, though.

Thanks, ya I figured it out just after I posted this.
