Hi

I need to design a linkage mechanism (similar to a four bar mechanism) but the command lever doesn't have to influence the movement of the final lever for the first 20 degrees.
I use a cam to do it but I would like to change it for a classic belcranks-rods mechanism.

Do you have a piece of advise ?

Thank you.

The first 20deg. of the forward stroke only or the back as well?

To save playing 20 questions please define exactly what you mean. Draw a graph of input and output, and tell us of any other constraints on the design. So far you've defined a sloppy 4 bar linkage.
