Can anyone explain me what linearized stresses are, and how helpful they can be to look at in our Pro/M analysis results?

have a look at:

anserwer this question, and it will help you:

How do you do to know in a thick wall under external pressure (for example), the stress distribution?....HOW is the membrane distribution or the pending distribution?... what level of alloweble stress can I reach in a "shell" analysis.

Regards.
