I'm trying to create configuration of a header pin. I created the first pin feature, and then patterned it. now its 36 pins. I tried to create a configuration then change the # of instances in the pattern but this doesn't seem to work. Is there something i'm missing?

I thought if this doesn't work. I'll just create 36 different patterns and suppress the one's im not using depending on the # of pins i want.

understand? Thanks for the help.

Double-click the pin feature, you should see the instance number dimension. Double click it and change it to "This configuration", change your value and your set.

Awesome, worked great....thank again.

I kept trying to edit feature. I was on the right path, just went about it wrong.

When you double click on the pattern feature, the qty & distance dimension are usually ontop of each other & are located near the "seed" or first instance of the pin. If you zoom in you should be able to drag one or both to seperate them for easier viewing & selection. Then do as Gildashard explained.
