Experts,
We have to select the materials of an Amine Unit removing CO2 (Up to 80% removal) from the following gas:
Feed Gas composition:
H2O : 0.18 mol%
CO2 : 16.51 mol%
CO : 2.41 mol%
N2 : 0.30 mol%
H2 : 74.79 mol%
C1 : 5.81 mol%
Total: 100 mol%
Amine Used: DEDA+MDEA+water

How can I assess the likelihood of pitting if I will choose carbon steel and SS 316 as the piping material of the unit ?
