Dear All,
I am looking for lightweight clutch (less than 1kg) to transmit 40N.m continous torque and 110N.m peak torque at 75rpm maximum speak. Is there any type of clutch which able to transmit this load and less than 1kg?
Best regards

Take a look at toothed-type of clutches. Monninghoff is the manufacturer we have purchased from.

These have had the highest torque transmission capability with the lightest weight of any I've seen. I think you'll be able to get close to 1kg with one of those.

Please note that alignment of the rotor and stator is critical for full rated capacity.

They have a variety of mounting/actuation choices. Not all of the available options are shown in the online catalog and a sales rep or someone like that may be helpful in getting custom clutch information.

Beat to fit, paint to match.

You might want to look at a "dog clutch" if you don't need any slippage or a synchronous shift.
