Anyone could suggest some readings on lightning protection devices for the oil tank? Thanks.

prince..

Perhaps posting on another forum might be a good idea ?

I would go to an electrical-grounding forum, or perhaps a storage tank forum.

NFPA 780, and API Rp 2003 both offer good advice.

For general reading on lightning protection principles, try poking around on the WJ Furse website:

In "Messages", search for your area of interest such as "tank". Also peruse the :Files" section.
