I'm looking at a project where we will be lifting some equipment from a supply ship to an island in the Caspian.
Does anyone know of any local regulations that would apply?
We plan to certify the lifting equipment to BS2573/7121 standards , but they are of little use in foreign waters, other than for risk assessment backup. Alternative is DNV 2-22, and as ever cost is a driver after H+S.
Any comment appreciated.
