Hi,

In my company, in order to better manage our lift truck fleet, we have been
keeping records of lift-truck hours and maintenance costs for some time.
With the analysis of this accumulated data and of the present situation of
local lift-truck market; We are on the verge of a decision in terms of which
ones to keep and/or which ones to trade in.

Trading after 10 to 12000 hrs of operation is something like an industry
norm in North America but in reality: the average electric truck is being
traded in at 26,000 hours, the average internal combustion truck gets traded
in at 22,500 hours.

Anybody know ways how to manage this equipment?

Where is this norm of 10 to 12000hrs coming from? Is it coming from the suppliers?

No, it's just that some company simply change the lift truck after 10000hr. Anyway, it seem that even with a managing system, most of the time you need to change the lift truck between 8000-12000hr.
