We are about to start a LEED project (MEP).
We are planning to use a leaf symbol next to LEED items on the drawings.
This should help prevent items from getting VE off the job and help the reviewer spot items.

What have people done on other project?

Tough to do that if it's an integrated design. If the energy peformance points are based on a a better envelope/glass, as well as Mech items, it may work as long as the other disciplines do it as show the interelatedness of them. IE- you find cheaper windows, but it blows the mechanical and electrical LEED Energy Points and ASHRAE-55 comfort point
