Can anyone tell me the leak rate allowed during hydrotest for an emergency shutdown valve (16") in hydrocarbon (Methane) Gas Riser/Pipeline Service

I don't the exact leakage rate but in the UK sector of the North Sea this used to be governed by Statuatory Instructions (SI289 & SI1029).

Best to ask someone who works at Lloyds Register or DNV.

For the Gulf of Mexico there are similar state guidelines and again I don't know the exact figures or standard numbers.
