LCD Graphic Module Advice Needed

Hey all. I need to find a small (~30x30 mm) display for text messages and was advised that a graphic display would work as many have intelligent controllers that will display fonts through interfacing similar to a character display (which I'm used to). Is this true? I need the controller to do as much work as possible, as memory space is very limited (< 100K for the full application).

I just need help by being pointed in the right direction. Many datasheets I've looked at mention things like icon storage and such, but are vague about how they're used. To clarify, I'm not having trouble finding displays, I just don't know how to find which controllers/drivers will fit my needs. Thanks.

Hi there a little while back I did the same thing I used LCD Manager 3.0 to run my screen it gave me font support. You can download it from
