Hey guys,

i am searching for literature on the "large mass method" and it would be helpful if anyone has anything to suggest me.
I also show this method in the book of Brauer, John R., "What every engineer should know about finite element analysis" but on google books and i can not have access to the references of the third chapter "structural analysis". There is given a reference for the method (is the reference [5]).
I would appreciate it if anyone could give me the title of this reference.

Thanks

The reference is:

Gockel, M. A. (ed), MSC/NASTRAN Dynamic Handbook, MacNeal-Scwendler Corp., Los Angeles, June 1983.

Hope this helps.

Jerzy

jerzy thank you,

i also think that this is the reference given in the book gave of Brauer. Your suggestion was helpful for me.

GregLocock,

i have already shown this thread before, but actually i was looking for formal references and justifications of the method, thanks for you suggestion.
