I am trying to buy a laptop that will work for I-DEAS NX. Anyone can give any recommandation? especially the vedio card requirements?
I tried to search sdrc certified notebook, but turns out none.

Thanks!

We use Dell Latitude D600's with 1.6 GHZ processors, 30 GB hard drives, 512 MB RAM, and ATI Rage Mobility Radeon 7500 AGP adapter with 32 MB RAM. These are about a year old and are used for demonstrations and light modeling. I'd look at some of the newer Dell's with the Mobility Radeon 9700's with 64 MB RAM. These should work.

Hi,

We have two laptops for this. A Dell M50 and a Latitude 800?, also from Dell. The M50 is a workstation class laptop, nice enough for even large assemblies. I think Dell has a M60 in the market...
