Hi there,
Which enginerring software/program looks good on a resume. I am planning to invest some of my time & money into an instrumentation type of software such as Labview maybe??

of which I know the very basics.

What appeals to employers and what is considered valuable to have?

Wouldn't you think that it might have something to do with what job you're applying for?

In general, I can tell you I tend to ask probing questions about such things, and woe to the person that claims knowledge of Labview or whatever and winds up answering,"Er... I didn't really spend much time on it."

Now, doesn't that make him look stupid or deceitful?
