L14 - iron

We have a pump casing made from L-14 iron and we want to know if we can carry out some minor weld repairs. The casing is ex USA and is in Sulphuric acid service. After some searching, I have not been able to find a material chemistry. Does anybody know of this material and can it be successfully welded.
