Hi everybody, I am doing cargo system calculation for 2 different type of Oil-based mud, base oil & brine, I am just informed about its SG such as the following:
- type 1 Oil-based mud SG 1.5
- type 2 oil-based mud SG 1
- base oil SG 0.78
- brine SG 1.49
I need the information about its kinematic viscosity in cSt, does anyone have the information?

I would like to know if there is such limitation of using manifold for fluids with particular viscosity, is there any limitation to use manifold on the system for high viscosity fluids?
thanks

There is no one answer. That stuff is Non-Newtonian, hence viscosity varies greatly with shear rate (velocity), not to mention temperature.

ok,I see, thank you very much, have a nice day
