I am working on a foam change project for a -86C & -40C freezer. We are comparing multiple foams and I was hoping to get some input on what mechanical properties will have the biggest impact in the foams performance. We are looking at properties such as compressive strength, tensile strength, shear strength, etc.

Thanks.

I would think thermal conductivity would be your primary focus? I would not think the foam is structural?
