keep a force from one step to the next

I have two load steps. In the first one I am stretching a part with a load, In the second step I am then bending the part but I want the load the was applied in the first step ( I dont wont to reapply it again and defeat what I was trying to do), How do I do that? Do I just remove that force in my second load step?
