The math involved in the Von Karman equations is beyond me.I have one simple question.Does air temp have a direct effect on the vortex frequency produced? I know the resulting vortex is based on factors such as the blunt body, cross section, and air velocity, but to what effect(if any) does air temp have vortex frequency itself?

Actually let me refrase this question.Hope I posted this in the correct forum.

Lets say I have a common vortex sensor from an average vehicle, one that uses ultrasound to measure vortex frequency, hooked directly to an oscilloscope. What variables influence the output? Obviously cross section, the size/shape of the vortex generator and air velocity. But with all those things being equal, will air temp effect the output frequency?
