Please let me know your requirements.

I ll study your needs and if possible reply

Find any books that talk about Lean Manufacturing and they will cover Kanban pretty extensively. You could also check with a M.E.P., Manufacturing Extension Partnership, Center in your area. They are part of a national network that helps companies with manufacturing issues, one being Lean Manufacturing and Kanban.

Go to and then click on the link for Manufacturing Extension Partnerships. You should be able to find some resources on Kanban here.

Thanks for the information.I hope i will be able to make sense out of it.

Marathe thanks for willing to help me with my task. Well what i want to come up with is a model or can call it a manual of some sort. I'm going to do a survey on at least six organisations and from that i should be able develop it. I understand that the model is process driven. So from this survey i will either choose one company and use it to come up with that model.

Now, my problem is i haven't seen one model yet so I'm finding it difficult to know which questions to ask and after that how am i going to use that information to come up with the model.I have done a literature survey on Kanban and i'm still unclear about the model requirements. I concluded that it should involve the following three i.e suppliers, process and the consumer-customer.

I hope it makes sense.

Thanks again
