JT Files

I am trying to get a JT file that was created in Catia into NX and make it a usable part that I need to modify in NX. We have tried making a STP file of this part and it came in as 40K sheets, after 3+ hrs of translating and another hour + to sew the part the model was not solid, FAIL! So I tried to make an iges file and the same result. I was told to try using a JT with Brep and that would make a solid part that I could use and that is not working either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you tried contacting GTAC and having them help you with the workflow?
