I am curious about the current job interview process under the current COVID climate. I am about to graduate with a PhD in mechanical engineering/engineering design from a UK university and am looking to transition to industry. The only reference I've had about the interview process is from a couple of years back when I applied as a fresh grad to some of the major organizations like JLR, RR, Airbus etc. They all generally culminated in a day-long/2 day-long in-person interview where you had to go through various tests and group activities.
How is this being done at the moment? Does the interview process still include such group activities with other candidates albeit through Skype/Teams/Zoom? Do they even conduct this type of interview for non-graduate jobs, or are there additional stages that one should know about?
