I am in the process of being given the position of CAD Administrator and have been tasked with writing my own job description. Anyone have a source for examples? I know this is most peoples dream..write my own description as to what I have to do, but am just looking for some additional information.

Here's some for starters:



Troubleshoot day-to-day problems or queries with CAD - modelling, drawing, etc.

Give one-to-one training on specific topics.

Co-ordinate best practice / user groups, discussion, etc



Maintain and update company customisation:

mapkeys, formats, templates, libraries, plotters, etc



Maintain file management system - users, groups, revisions. Purge old data, rescue user mistakes.



Co-ordinate software upgrades: prepare users, hardware, software & training.
