Hi

Im a student and I have this Production Process (pp-2) sheet on designing of jigs using indexing methods..
Does anybody know of a good book( besides "JIg & Fixtures" by Kempstar) or some website to help me out???

And also..does anybody know of some FREE online libraries where I can browse thru all mech engg books?

Thanx. Hoping to get a positive reply.

Hi naheed,
There are quite a number of good books on Jigs and fixture. To name a few
1. Tool Design - Donaldson and Gould
2. Title I forget --- S.A.J. Parsons
3. Jigs and fixtures- Joshi
4. Jigs and fixture - Hoffman
The books will give a guidance and the necessary principles involved in the design of Jigs and fixtures. You may have to design a few to gain confidence.
