Jacking Oil Pump Calculations/Selection

Hi All,

I am a junior mechanical engineer at a thermal powerplant and I am learning new things on daily basis. I was wondering about the calculation/selection of jacking oil pumps used to jack the steam turbine rotor during turning gear operation/low rpm scenarios. Any help regarding how to approach this calculation or any textbook (of practical nature) having similar calculations, would be appreciated.

Refer Shigley 12-11 (Pressure fed bearings) for an idea about pressure and flow requirements. But suppliers of turbines etc. have their own standard based on experience.
