I am trying to pattern a surface (in blue) around the periphery of a radial swept surface (in green) but cannot figure out how to isolate just surface to be patterned. My thinking was that if I could delete all surfaces around the blue surface I could pattern is radially around the green radial sweep surface but cannot delete or suppress these surfaces I think because the blue surface geometry is dependent on it. I am beginning to wonder if there is a better way of constructing this than the way I have done it and would appreciate any input. Attached is my part (made in V20) and a photo of the clay model I made to visualise the pattern detail I am trying to achieve.

Thanks. Jeff
