Hi,

reading ISO 14405, while I have a problem to solve. I would like to evaluate "major diameter" with Gauss on a torus. I can see all about GG-global Gauss and LP-local 2 point, but is it possible to use LG-local Gauss? I can find anything about that option.

Have a nice day all.

Oh, I think I've found what I need. Section 7.4 in 14405-1:2010. I imagine it on a torus it would be exactly 1 cross section in the center so I assume I can do "dia20 +-0.1 (GG)ACS".
Please confirm. If you need a sketch, just ask.
