Hi,
I'm currently working with steel castings prototypes establishing tolerances for measuirng the FAI. I'm using the table 2 in the Section 5 (paragraph 5.2, Casting Tolerances) in orer to define all limits. There is anote below that says "As a default conditions for the dimensions, the casting tolerance should be simmetrically disposed with respect to the nominal dimension.......". Should this applies for those dimensions on the drawing formn the center line of the casting? or applies for all dimensions (thickness, overall length, hights, etc.)?? How should w e consider this note?? Do I have to split all tolernaces in the table??
Thanks.
