is under bottom connections allowed in api 620 like in annex O of api 650

Hi,
I did not find any reference of under bottom connection API 620. can we include those under bottom connection details as shown in annex O of API 650 ??

API 620 scope covers also , Appendix R low-pressure storage tanks for refrigerated products at temperatures from +40°F to –60°F. Appendix Q low-pressure storage tanks for liquefied hydrocarbon gases at temperatures not lower than –270°F .

What is your tank content and bottom type ? flat bottom ?

My tank is for sour water and is flat bottom,so Appendix R & Q are not applicable.

Although API 620 silent for the bottom connection, there is no any restriction explicitly stated for this case, and I know bottom connections applied for the API 620 tanks for refrigerated tanks also.

In this case , yes .. you can apply under bottom connection as shown in annex O of API 650, provided that settlement is not issue.
