Is this runout tolerance proper.

Is the runout tolerance show on the attachment proper. I do not think so, but the reference for the drawing I am checking shows it this way and it is released.

Dreadful. Basically puts a tolerance on a face that does not exist.

I never thought I'd say this, but Concentricity might be a better control to use here.

Does IFI cover things like this? They call out true Position for the hex head back to the body of the screw.
 
Runout and concentricity are for revolved veatures. This is a single edge on an imaginary circle. You simply can not apply GD&T to non-existent faces.

At any rate, attempting to control this shape by the corner edges is a fool's game no matter what. Better to control by the flats.
 
Normally, circular runout or total runout is used on cylindrical (circular) part, as for the head of screw bolt, it’s a polygon, all around profile is the best callout on this application.

I took it out and added true position to the width dimension. I decided not to worry about the reference drawing.
