I am developing a a Marking System for the security industry and looking for a Dye or Ink that is visible in the 630mn range. I have been looking at organic fluorescent fluorophore's in the infra-red range but find they are too complex and made for Bio-medical industry thus very expensive. I need a chemical that is water soluble that can be formed into an Ink and invisible to human eye but visible using glasses with 630mn filters under normal ambient lighting conditions. I appreciate that the dye will need to be concentrated since viewing will be bye human eye with filters and not CCTV cameras.

I'm not following. 630nm is simply red.

Near infrared starts at about 800 nm, anything around 630 nm is visible to normal color vision
