Inventor file to 3D Studio Max

I’m looking for a plug-in to bring Inventor 2008 parts/assemblies into 3D Studio Max R5. I had a plug in for max that let me bring assemblies in from Inventor 7 to max R5 and Max treated this as all separate parts not as one part like a STL file. Any Ideas?
