Does anyone know how I can automate the process of determining volume inside open chambers of an assembly containing multiple components?

i.e. I have a design for a 4 pass SS heat exchanger consisting of a primary tank, collector boxes, secondary tubes and a flue. Knowing the internal volume is very helpful in determining air changes, back pressure, etc.

Thanks for any Help,

Brian

The only thing I can think of at the moment is to create a part that represents the internal areas and then open that part and get a volume of that part using Mass properties.

Try jksolid's suggestion and use the Cavity command on the new part.
