I am working on a 18 KV hydro powerplant generator coils manufacturing procedure and want to apply ICP (Internal Corona Protection). I wonder whether ICP are to be connected to the layers of Roebel Bars? Does it mean in each strand crossing of the roebel bar, the strand insulation be removed to secure the conductive layer (ICP) connections to strands?
