hi
I am facing a problem in doing sheet metal...see the image there are four cones, which are assembled to the bottom side with a shaft, and center of cones, center of shaft are concentric.....i did cone in sheet metal ,using loft,,since the customer needs a develop length of the cone..

Wat i need is...a flat pattern of the cone after removing the interference in assembly..i mean..i want to remove the area, where there exists interference in assembly...,,see the image..i thought to make cut extrude in assembly where there are interference..but the portion of interferences are too complex to draw a sketch and do a cut extrude..my final part should not contain any interference,,i want a flat patterned cone, which should contain the cut of interferences

Any suggestions appreciated

In the part file, create planes representing the intersections of the mating surfaces in the assy, then use those planes with the [Cut with surface[/b] tool.
