Integration of Eurocode 8 (1998-4(2006) Part 4) Seismic Requirements with LP Zick's paper

I'm working on a HX with a customer seismic code requirement of Eurocode 8. From what I have read is that this code by itself is not enough to perform a meaningful analysis and that it needs to be paired with another method. Typically HX cradle attachments are analyzed with LP Zick's paper, but I am not sure how to integrate Eurocode 8 into this. Any previous experience on this one?

j13m, first, Zick analyzes stresses in the shell at the saddles, not the saddles themselves. I don't recall that Zick considers external loads. You might see TEMA RGP-G-7.11, although it seems to leave much unsaid. I know nothing about your Eurocode.
