Instrument Index script or batch populating

I am interested in finding out if there is a way to insert groups of instruments all at once into the INtools db - either through the INtools UI or by directly manipulating the Oracle database.

Similarly, is there any possibility of setting up a script that can interact with INtools and create multiple instruments at once based on custom inputs from me?

INtools has an Import Utility that works best from Excel spreadsheets. I would not recommend manipulation of the Oracle database because there are macros that keep the different relations correct.
