Instantiate without scaling

When I instantiate a symbol to one of my drawing views, it changes scale to that of the drawing view.

How do I get the instantiated detail to maintain a 1:1 scale?

I think what you're looking for is in Tools/Options. Go to the Mechanical Design/Drafting section, under the Annotation and Dress-Up tab you'll see 2D Component Creation - Create with a constant size. Check that box and you should be good to go.

If you want to change the scale of the symbols you've already created, right click on the symbol, select 'Properties' and change the scale in there.
