How can I install a notebook harddrive on a pc motherboard?

I have an adapter that work for PC harddisks & disconnected moduls, But not shure that the voltage level & signal pinouts of both of pc & notebook harddisks be the same.

I thought it was obvious that you would need a notebook HD adapter cable

Use a Laptop-to-IDE adapter board. Plugs into the 2.5" laptop HD, allows connecting both standard IDE (data) & power cables.

Find one by browsing computer adapters at eBay. For example, see
For permanent connection, get an adapter kit that includes the mounting rails for 2.5" HD in a 3.5" slot.
