Hi, I am an AutoCAD user but used Microstation a few years ago but I am very rusty!

We have a job to update some P&ID drawings which are mainly symbol based, these symbols usually are coming from a sheet with all required symbols on it.
Normally I would have two windows open and simply copy and paste the desired symbol from library to the current drawing but can't seem to do this on Microstation.

We also have a symbol library with individual drawings for each symbol but I'm unsure if there's an 'Insert Block' command? Do I have to use References for this?

Thanks in advance if you can assist me.

PS if anyone knows of any free downloadable MS tutorials please direct me!

If you are using LDDT you will have to build your own symbology. There are free downloads from most of the DOT's. MS tutorials: FHWA Web site offers some on Geopak.
Hope this helps,
Namdac
