Classical slope stability analysis includes both: Effective Stress analysis (ESA) for obtaining FOS for long run and Total Stress analysis (TSA) for obtaining FOS for short run.
For TSA I use undrained strength parameters obtained from CU triaxial test. When performing TSA (one phase analysis) I beleive in this case we should
use undrained modulus of elasticity Eu= 1.11 to 1.43 E and Poission ratio close to 0.5. and undrained friction angle and cohesion we use also total unit wieght.
PLease confirm if these considerations are OK. Are there other considerations that should be accounted for for performing undrained deformation analysis on the slope
