Hi everyone,

My name is Mathias, I'm a civil/structural engineer and a new user of Abaqus.

I have a simple query:
As I'm studying the capacity of a steel beam I would like to input an initial geometrical imperfection in my model following the first mode of my buckling analysis ran previously.

Does someone know if there is an automatic function to do that?

Yes. In the manual, search for *IMPERFECTION.
