Initial Conditions, void ratio

I am perfroming a contact analysis with a porous material and I get a error that reads "Permeability is specified on 20 elements but the initial void ratio is not defined. Use *initial conditions to the value. The elements are identified in element set ErrElemPermNoInitVoidRatio." I have tried to enter it in the input file but I then get a return that the node set is not active. How do I determine the name of my node set in the input file?
