Hello everyone!!!
I am new to abaqus an I have problem with initial conditions. I am dealing with tunnel excavation. So, I have model with to different rock oblique layer (look at the picture bellow). When the layers are horizontal, I have no problem to define initial conditions. When I am defining parameters normally (horizontal layers), the results are weird (positive vertical displacement). Can anyone give me some advice how to solve this case? Sorry for my english
