In order to determine the maximum production velocity of bending rods, I'm busy with finding out the failure criteria and occurring effects concerning this production method.

Concretely, it means I need the following information:

1. What is the influence of strain rate on the mechanical properties of steel st52? Or better: which material properties of st52 depend on the magnitude of the strain rate?

2. Which failure criteria are involved in the bending process in relation to the production velocity?

Some background information: the current production process takes 2 seconds (30 mm rod, 90 degrees angle).

Maybe somebody is familiar with this subject and can answer my questions and/or can tell me where to find other useful information.

Many thanks in advance!
