Hello,
I need to isolate a gas main so we can enter a pressure vessel for cleaning. The gas is blast furnace gas at atmospheric pressure and approx 40deg Celsius. There is no position for a slip plate, but I have heard of inflatable balloons being used to isolate a main temporarily. The main I need to block is about 4 metres in diamter. Does anyone have any experience with these plugs? Do you know if they can be used on a main of this size?
Regards,
Luke
