I'm trying to develop a table for Index of Refraction for standard atmosphere. So far I've found reference to the Ciddor and Edlen equations, but I'm having trouble finding the exact calculations and what goes into them. Also, some of the references I've found mention of using the Ciddor equation only for wavelengths less than 300nm - I'll need to calculate refractive index for a much larger wavelength. Is that a problem with these equations?

Any help is appreciated. If someone has a better forum to post this under, please let me know.

Cheers!
