Am having error:Nodes have incorrect normal definitions.
am modeling a truss embedded in a solid (beam) using a conctact pair option interaction.

i don;t know how to fix this error.

Can you supply the CAE? its easier to understand the problem then

Thnaks for your reply, even smaller mesh did not solve the problem.
Am attaching the CAE file to look at, hope u can find a solution.

I uploaded to engineering.com. under name:UPPB020S-ancho-1.cae.
dont know another way to do so.

were you able to download it?

File is attached, hope you can help...I desperately need a solution....I searched manuals and internet but seems couldn't find a way...

Hope you can revert back with a solution the earliest possible.
thanx

got the CAE, look on it
which model is the most relevant?

What do you mean? if you meant what interaction that causes the problem
then it is (int-3/4/5/6) (the interaction of solid faces with middletendon)
however, i also tried to create ons set of all surfaces and define one iteraction but nothing was solved.

Steps i used to check the normalare as follows:
try to run the model/ go to results/ common plots/ trun on Normals/ you can see that the normal vectors are pointed out, however, they should be oriented inside to interact with the middletendon

Thank You,

Any solution?
