in-situ testing of pilot-operated PSV

We are considering installing only 1x100% pilot PSV in a hydrocarbon gas relief line. The system protected will be in contineous service (pressurised) during testing (tentatively every 3 or 6 months) of the pilot/PSV. Does anyone have an experience on which standards or procedures to use under such scenario.

Hoping for someones valuable feedback.
